In spite of the adage to write what you know, Anne Marie Pace has never been a vampire, a ballerina, a groundhog, or a tow truck driver. She is a picture book author whose latest book is MOUSE CALLS, illustrated by Erin Kraan, from Beach Lane Books (Simon & Schuster). Other books include GROUNDHUG DAY (Little, Brown), BUSY-EYED DAY (Beach Lane Books), SUNNYâS TOW TRUCK SAVES THE DAY (Abrams) and the four books of the VAMPIRINA BALLERINA series (Disney-Hyperion), which were adapted into the hit Disney Junior animated series VAMPIRINA. She lives in Virginia with her husband, three cats, and two dogs, and loves frequent visits from her young adult children.
LeUyen Pham has illustrated more than one hundred books for children, including the Caldecott Honor book Bear Came Along by Richard T. Morris and the bestselling Princess in Black series by Shannon and Dean Hale. She is the co-creator, along with Shannon Hale, of the bestselling graphic memoirs Real Friends, Best Friends, and Friends Forever. Her own books include The Bear Who Wasn't There and Big Sister, Little Sister. A graduate of the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, LeUyen lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons.
