Charlotte Gordon is the author of Mistress Bradstreet: The Untold Life of Americaâs First Poetand The Woman Who Named God: Abrahamâs Dilemma and the Birth of Three Faiths. She is an associate professor of English at Endicott College and lives in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
