Kathryn Otoshi is the acclaimed author of One, winner of 20 awards, including the E.B. White Read Aloud Honor Book and the Teacher's Choice Award. Bret Baumgarten (1970-2014) was born and raised in the SF Bay Area where he lived with his South African wife, Deborah, and their two children, Noah and Sofie. His daily question to Sophie, "What will your beautiful hands do today," sparked this book, which he hoped would inspire his daughter, and all children, to use their beautiful hands for goodness, and to achieve their dreams. This was his first book.
