Shirley Parenteau is the author of four other books about the Bears, as well as the middle-grade novels Ship of Dolls and Dolls of Hope. She lives in Elk Grove, California.
David Walker has illustrated many childrenâs books, including the four previous Bears books and the Peep and Ducky books by David Martin. About Bears in a Band, he says, âCover your ears and imagine the noise, if four small bears had four musical toys!â David Walker lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
