Karma Wilson began writing children's books after she became a mother (and she received a tax refund that allowed her to buy a computer!). Her first book was Bear Snores On, which became a bestseller and spawned a franchise. She now has more than thirty humorous and rhythmic picture books to her credit, several of which have received state and national awards and been translated into many languages. She lives in Huson, Montana.

Renata Liwska was born in Poland and now lives in Calgary, Canada with her illustrator husband. She is the illustrator of several picture books, including the New York Times bestselling The Quiet Book and its companions by Deborah Underwood. She is the author/illustrator of Red Wagon and Little Panda, which received multiple awards for illustration. Renata starts a project by finding a quiet space in which to sketch, and then allowing the characters to do whatever their hearts desire.
