Funny Girl
Originally created for the Broadway stage in 1964 starring Barbra Streisand, she reprises her role as Fannie Brice in this film adaptation. Fannie Brice was a comedienne, singer, film and theater actress, whose story is told starting with her early days in the Lower East Side Jewish slums, continuing on through her career summit and her marriage and divorce with Nick Arnstein.
