Joana Costa Knufinke is originally from Barcelona, a beautiful European city on the Mediterranean coast. Joana holds a masterâs degree in literature from the University of Barcelona and a masterâs degree in publishing from New York University, which she obtained thanks to a Fulbright scholarship. She currently works as an editor at Scholastic, and she lives in New York City with her family.
