Masters of silence / Kathy Kacer.
Henry and Helen's mother takes them to France to hide them in her desperation to save them from the Nazis. There they are taken to a convent where they are disguised as orphans. During their stay at the convent, they are visited by a mime. Henry especially loves his visits, whose traumatic experience has left him a selective mute. Unfortunately an informer gives them up, forcing the children to flee again. The mime, a not yet famous Marcel Marceau, risks everything to save them.
