Julie Fortenberry is the creator of several books for young readers including Darcy's First Sleepover, The Artist and the King, Lilyâs Cat Mask, and Pearl Goes to Preschool. She is also the illustrator of many childrenâs books. A graduate of Hunter Collegeâs MFA program, Julie has exhibited her work in the Whitney Museum of American Art, among others. She lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
