Akuluk is excited to visit her family in Nunavut. On a boat ride in the Arctic Ocean, she experiences the beautiful sights, sounds, and animals that abound the ocean and the shore during the short summer, and learns how each species cares for its young and protects their babies from the other animals who share their ecosystem.
