Strict new rules at Brayside Retirement Villa make it difficult for West Highland terrier Harvey to visit. Meanwhile, Harvey's owner Maggie has to cope with being the understudy for the school play. And her friend Austin faces shame over money problems. Also, Austin checks on Mr. Kowalski, a resident at Brayside whose wife is in the hospital, and learns about his life during World War II.
