One of aspiring screenwriter Altuna Rashad's goals for the summer before leaving for college in the fall is to win over her crush, Tristan Dangerfield. Another goal is to help her older brother Robby get a life so he will stay out of hers. She believes the signs her Caribbean ancestors are sending are proof they are on her side, despite Tristan and Robby not believing in those signs.
