Deborah Kerbel is the author of several picture books,including Sunny Days, Rainy Days, Before You Were Born, and award-winnersWindy Days, Snow Days and Sun Dog. Deborah also writes novels formiddle grade and young adult readers. Born in London, England, she moved toCanada at the age of two and went on to attend the University of WesternOntario. Her novels have been shortlisted for the Governor General’s LiteraryAward, the Canadian Library Association YA Book of the Year, and the ManitobaYoung Reader’s Choice Award. Deborah lives in Thornhill, Ontario, with herhusband, two book-loving children, and a schnoodle named Alfredo.

MikiSato is a Japanese-Canadian illustrator who uses a varietyof different textures and materials to create three-dimensional images.Originally from Ottawa, she moved to Toronto to complete her degree inillustration from the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her picture booksinclude Golden Threads written by Suzanne Del Rizzo and theaward-winning Weather Days collection written by Deborah Kerbel: SnowDays, Sunny Days, Windy Days, and Rainy Days.
