Dr. Eve L. Ewing is a sociologist of education, an assistant professor at the University of Chicago and an award-winning author of four books: the poetry collections Electric Arches and 1919; the nonfiction work Ghosts in the Schoolyard: Racism and School Closings on Chicago's South Side; and a novel for young readers, Maya and the Robot. In addition, she co-authored the play No Blue Memories: The Life of Gwendolyn Brooks and has written several series for Marvel, most notably Ironheart starring Riri Williams and the 2020 relaunch of Champions.
Chris Allen made his Marvel Comics debut illustrating the movie tie-in Marvelâs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Prelude, followed by Marvelâs Ant-Man and the Wasp Prelude. His steadily building reputation has seen him take on one-shots including Heroes Reborn: American Knights and Spider-Man: Reptilian Rage, as well as contribute to Marvelâs Voices: Legacy. He later graduated to his first Marvel ongoing series, Miles Morales: Spider-Man. Elsewhere, Allen has demonstrated his artistic range, illustrating dark titles including Tomb of Horror, Warrior Nun Areala and The Last Zombie: The End, as well as the colorful adventures of such iconic characters as Sonic the Hedgehog and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
