Angela De Groot was born in England, grew up in South Africa, and now lives in New Jersey with her husband and sons. When sheâs not writing picture books and poems, youâll find her in the garden, digging in the dirt, and talking to the birds. A lifelong lover of reading, Angela teaches English as a second language and basic literacy at her local library.
MacKenzie Haley is an illustrator, runner, and self-proclaimed cat lover. She received her bachelor's in fine arts in illustration from the University of Dayton and currently lives in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, with her two codependent cats, Booger and Abby, and an overflowing closet full of cat t-shirts.
