Summary:

The peaceful, sweltering summer in Verona, Ontario is interrupted when news of death reaches the Baron family. Camila's grandfather has died. Her father, Arthur, becomes angry and isolated, taken into the darkness of a past he’s long tried to distance himself from. Her step-mother Bennie, seeks peaceful solitude as she contemplates her family’s new, broken world.
