Homeschooled and brought up in a traditional patriarchal household led by her former pastor father, she is expected to be a wife and mother first. Layla also meets 24-year-old Morgonn in Arizona, a conservative influencer who has risen to prominence by posting content which is critical of feminism and the LGBTQ+ movement.
