- Contraptions collection [electronic resource]. by Nintendo of America Inc.;
- Game.Contraptions is a physics-based puzzle game with a fun cartoony look. This game takes three games; Contraptions, Contraptions 2 and Contraptions 3 and combines them into one value pack of creative fun Gameplay On every level there are several objects and monsters. The goal is to rid the level of the monsters. This can be achieved in different ways. The objects are affected by the laws of physics and play a key part in solving the puzzle. The objects form a "contraption" which are placed in such a way, which creates a chain reaction that will wipe out all monsters. The catch is that the contraption is broken - some objects are not in the right place. Your goal is to fix the contraption. You do this, by repositioning, flipping, or connecting the different objects. When the level starts "time is frozen", gravity doesn't affect the objects and all machines or gadgets are not running. During this time, you can move things around, connect things, flip things, to make the chain reaction work. Once you are done, you set things in motion (unfreeze time) by pressing the Play button and watch things play out. If you did everything correctly the chain reaction will wipe out all monsters and you will progress to the next level. If your solution is not correct, you can pause the contraption and fiddle with the objects again.ESRB Content Rating: E, Everyone (Mild fantasy violence).Cartridge compatible with Nintendo Switch video game system ; HDTV 720p/1080i/1080p ; in game surround sound ; Nintendo Switch Pro controller compatible.

- It's all about the land : collected talks and interviews on Indigenous resurgence / by Alfred, Taiaiake,author.; Palmater, Pamela D.(Pamela Doris),1970-writer of foreword.; Rogers, Ann,editor,writer of introduction.;
- Includes bibliographical references.Illuminating the First Nations struggles against the Canadian state, It's All about the Land exposes how racism underpins and shapes Indigenous-settler relationships. Renowned Kahnawà:ke Mohawk activist and scholar Taiaiake Alfred explains how the Canadian government's reconciliation agenda is a new form of colonization that is also guaranteed to fail. Bringing together Alfred's speeches and interviews from over the past two decades, the book shows that Indigenous peoples across the world face a stark choice: reconnect with their authentic cultures and values or continue following a slow road to annihilation. Alfred proposes a radical vision for contesting and confronting the ongoing genocide of the original peoples of this land: Indigenous Resurgence. This way of thinking, being, and practising represents an authentic politics that roots resistance in the spirit, knowledge, and laws of the ancestors. Set against the historic arc of Indigenous-settler relations in Canada and drawing on the rich heritage of First Nations resistance movements, It's All about the Land traces the evolution of Indigenous struggle and liberation through the dynamic processes of oratory, dialogue, action, and reflection.

- The real Mrs. Tobias : a novel / by Koslow, Sally,author.;
- It's 2015 in New York City, and three women all known as Mrs. Tobias--Veronika, the matriarch, her daughter-in-law Mel, and Mel's daughter-in-law Birdie--are trying to navigate personal difficulties, some of which are with one another. Veronika and Mel, despite having little in common, are both psychotherapists who are more skilled at helping other people than solving their own problems. Birdie, still dealing with the culture shock of moving to New York City and marrying into the Tobias clan, is pushed to her limit when her husband gets into trouble. No amount of badgering from his steely grandmother, smart-mouthed mother, or disillusioned wife can convince him to own up to what he's done. Overwhelmed, Birdie bolts--along with the couple's young daughter--to her Midwestern hometown, hoping that space, warmth and wisdom from her own feisty grandmother will help her find a path forward. And though Birdie begins to find comfort in unexpected places--a local bookstore and the arms of her old boyfriend--her absence stirs up long simmering troubles back home forcing the Tobiases to reconsider their relationships to each other, and ultimately, what it means to be a family.

- The story of a heart : two families, one heart, and the medical miracle that saved a child's life / by Clarke, Rachel(Physician),author.;
- Includes bibliographical references."One summer day, nine-year-old Keira Ball was in a terrible car accident and suffered catastrophic brain injuries. As the rest of her body began to shut down, her heart continued to beat. In an act of extraordinary generosity, Keira's parents and siblings immediately agreed that she would have wanted to be an organ donor. Meanwhile nine-year-old Max Johnson had been in a hospital for nearly a year, valiantly fighting the virus that was causing his young heart to fail. When Max's parents received the call they had been hoping for, they knew it came at a terrible cost to another family--in what Clarke calls "the brutal arithmetic of transplant surgery." The act of Keira's heart resuming its rhythm inside Max's body was a medical miracle. But this was only part of the story. While waiting on the transplant list, Max had become the hopeful face of a campaign to change the UK's laws around organ donation. Following his successful surgery, Keira's mother saw the little boy beaming on the front page of the newspaper and knew it was the same boy whose parents had recently sent her an anonymous letter overflowing with gratitude for her daughter's heart. The two mothers began to exchange messages and eventually decided to meet"--
