Recounts the story of Lieutenant Leslie H. Miller, a teacher and farmer, who was part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917. At the battle, he picked up a handful of acorns and mailed them home where they were planted at his farm in Ontario and became oak trees.
