Recounts the story of Lieutenant Leslie H. Miller, a teacher and farmer, who was part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917. At the battle, he picked up a handful of acorns and mailed them home where they were planted at his farm in Ontario and became oak trees. In April 2017, seedlings from these oaks will be repatriated to their original territory at Vimy Ridge as part of the ceremonies to mark Canada's contribution to the war.
