As the daughter of a Residential School Survivor and Indigenous war veteran, Corinne George lives through many forms of colonization and oppression. Gathering courage from the Spirit of her ancestors, George speaks to a path to restore physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, whilst simultaneously doing the work to re-Indigenize academic spaces through her work and studies. George is Wetsuweten from the Gidimten Clan (Bear Clan). She has spent many years living in both Alberta and British Columbia. Currently, she lives in Ciggiz, Gidimten, Wetsuweten territory.
