Life Below Zero: S2.
Preparations for the brutal Alaskan winter dominate life for those who live there. It takes a special kind of mental and physical strength to cope with the extreme test of isolation and unending work needed to survive Alaska's long months of winter, living miles from the nearest road in this merciless territory. In the weeks just before freeze up, four households are focused on last ditch efforts to bring in enough meat and supplies to enable them to make it through winter.
