A bat named Batty lives in the beautiful rainforest, FernGully. He and his friends must try to save FernGully from the evil Hexxus, who wants to destroy it. They get some help from Zak, a human who was helping to demolish the rainforest, but vows to save it after he sees its beauty and magic.
