Summary:

Max, a precision-trained military dog upset by the wartime death of his handler Kyle, is returned stateside and adopted by Kyle’s family. The only human he connects with, Kyle’s brother, isn’t initially interested in Max, but the dog may be his only chance to solve the mystery about what really happened to his brother.
