Born out of recognition of cultural stigmas that discourage reporting abuse and inadequate methods of communicating with young victims, Bobbi Bear developed a method of letting children use teddy bears to explain their abuse. Since 1992, the multiracial staff has become the fearless and powerful voice for those victims who would otherwise continue to live in fear, powerless against their oppressors and ignored by the legal system.Mode of access: World Wide Web.

Journalist Layla Wright travels from her home town in Liverpool to meet the young women at the forefront of a new movement on the political right who use highly inflammatory language. Immersing herself in a growing online community of influencers, podcasters and creators who see themselves as on the front line of a war against progressive politics, Layla seeks to find out what is driving women her own age to share extreme and often offensive content to their followers on social media. In Nashville, she spends time with 16-year-old Hannah, an ambitious rising star on the right. Homeschooled and brought up in a traditional patriarchal household led by her former pastor father, she is expected to be a wife and mother first. Layla also meets 24-year-old Morgonn in Arizona, a conservative influencer who has risen to prominence by posting content which is critical of feminism and the LGBTQ+ movement. Plus Layla travels to the US-Mexico border to meet Christie, who makes regular missions to confront migrants illegally crossing into the country and live-streams her findings to her followers. Faced with powerful tech giants like Meta, Tiktok, Snapchat, X and Discord, how can we protect children and their childhood?For the first time in history, state legislators and parents in the US and Europe are joining forces to fight these digital giants. Among them are five women who have chosen to turn their daily lives upside down to fight back against the Big 5: Alexis, Elisabet, Sofia, Laure and Socheata.They are victims, mothers, doctors and lawyers. They’re all behind a movement to change the destiny of future generations. Alexis, a victim of screen addiction, was among the first to take Meta to court, accusing it of “inciting suicide.” Elisabet is a mother of three. In just a few days, over 10,000 parents joined her WhatsApp group to fight for a "phone-free youth." As a result, the state has banned smartphones in schools. Sofia is a psychiatrist and pioneer in the treatment of screen addiction in children, some as young as seven. Socheata has been involved in the fight ever since her son was manipulated by an internet predator. She has joined an organisation that works alongside cybercrime police officers to track down paedophiles.
